
Colson Baker(born on April 22nd on the 22nd of April, 1990) who is known professionally as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) is an American singer, rapper writer, actor, and songwriter. Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on April 22nd on the 22nd of April in 1990) is well-known for his hybrid style of alternative rock and hip hop. He released his first studio album called Lace Up in 2012, which reached number four on the US Billboard 200 and contained the single that made him famous "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter featured the smash single "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100. The album he released in his fourth, Hotel Diablo, was an rap-rock album. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall (2020), came out. It marked a change from hip-hop as well as a transition to pop punk. The lead single "My Ex's Best Friend" reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. It was the first album by a rock artist to achieve the top spot. The album was followed by the Mainstream Sellout (2022) which was a the same commercial success. Since then, he has been seen in the action thriller Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence in addition to the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
