Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, is known for playing in the film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film and TV. Her acting career started in the theater. Later, she was a part of numerous television shows in independent films, mainstream and films. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing series The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her character, she also received a few awards and nominations. She began her career as an actor in the year 1995, when she appeared as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Her film career is highlighted through her performances as a character in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. The role she played as a regular in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
